Finnair is living an extremely interesting phase. We are receiving brand new aircraft. The Finnair team is growing strongly, too. Through digital services we have a direct contact to millions of international consumers. Now we are searching for passionate professionals to join our team to develop current and build new digital touchpoints.

Our work in this area has a strong foundation in design, as evidenced by our mobile app winning the coveted international Red Dot design award and our Nordic Sky wifi portal receiving recognition in Best In-Flight Connectivity Innovation at APEX awards. The app has some 95,000 active users on average. The Finnair.com website is also growing in popularity. Our online shop receives in average two million visitors per month. Already almost 30% of our sales comes via our direct channel, Finnair.com.

We are also facing new opportunities, with high-speed internet connectivity from ViaSat Inc. to be introduced on board our Airbus A320 series aircraft in European traffic in May 2017. Internet connectivity will also be rolled out in our long-haul fleet by May 2017.

The development teams have a true possibility to directly impact how our global customers experience Finnair. We’re working in an agile way. A new idea can become live in the in-flight entertainment in just a few days.
