Our Ground Operations unit is responsible for taking care of our customers and aircraft at all the airports Finnair operates to. You will work with a team of multi-skilled professionals responsible for maintaining and developing our ground processes, such as aircraft turnaround, airport customer service, baggage handling, aircraft cleaning, de-icing, and fueling, and delivery of these processes. Your duty as Business Development trainee is to translate operational needs into data insights, leading to safe and efficient ground operations.

Your responsibilities will include, for example:

• Designing and building analytics for Ground Operations’ core processes based on the needs of operative experts.
• Automating data-related workflows in Ground Operations area.
• Working with Finnair data & analytics experts as their operational counterpart.

We hope you are capable in the field of business intelligence,already possess some skills with the relevant tools such as PowerBI and SQL, and have a basic database understanding. You have good people skills and preferably have some experience of operative processes either as a frontline/shop floor worker or as an analyst or an expert.

Relevant study background: Business, Economics, Industrial management or another relevant field.

Please note that the hiring process includes a security clearance and a pre-employment drug test.

The preferred starting date for the trainee will be April 2026; the length of the trainee program will be between 4 to 6 months.
