Sustainability

Our most important destination is the future

Sustainability is about creating balance that lasts. For us as an airline, it means pursuing long-term value by aligning environmental care, social well-being and financial performance. These pillars are interconnected – progress in one can influence the others, with benefits or trade-offs.

In a global world, flying connects people, countries and continents for trade, relationships, culture and love. To keep enjoying these social and economic benefits, we are committed to reducing fossil carbon emissions from flying.

We’ve set a science-based climate target to improve our emissions efficiency. We are taking action through increasing the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), operational improvements, network optimisation and maintaining our fleet as fuel-efficient as possible.

Beyond climate action, we address also other environmental, social and governance aspects of our operations – from reducing food waste and managing materials responsibly to ensuring safe, inclusive and accessible travel experiences. Our governance practices support transparency and ethical decision-making, while we also foster a healthy work environment, equal opportunities and continuous learning for our employees.
