How do we change the world of travel?

Our digital vision isn’t just improving what we already have. We really want to build the best intelligent travel ecosystem, and we are taking an active role in shaping the future of the travel market. We have a truly international consumer business in front of us.

We’ve achieved a lot already as you can read from other posts. But what next? Where are we going?

In the next few years, we will focus on building competitive, lovable digital services to attract customers through the digital journey. This means further developing, our mobile app, our In-flight entertainment system and our wi-fi portal. And everything which is possible to make personal, we will personalize.

Internally, we want to operate with best-in-class efficiency and flexibility, enabled by artificial intelligence and effortless digital experience for our people. This means taking into use e.g. chatbots in the customer service interface to complement the personal service, and redesigning our processes with the help of digital solutions to make work more meaningful and to increase efficiency. In January, we are taking first two mobile apps into use in our aircraft maintenance, which is at the very core of our operations as an airline.

But the world is open for so much more. Our team will also experiment new digital business opportunities beyond airline core. We want to take the opportunity, evaluate and pilot new business models based on our strengths.
